Description

This book provides a programme of seven one-hour sessions aimed at helping children to develop social awareness and social responsibility.

Each session is an exploration of the story of a group of children who would like to make their school a better place.

The following skills are covered:

• recognising right and wrong choices
• sharing opinions
• listening to others and working cooperatively
• recognising preferences
• being aware of various groups and communities they belong to
• identifying and respecting similarities and differences

A CD is also included.
